The prices in real estate in Marikina, in the Metro Manila region have had a minor fall in the last couple of months. The real estate prices for second hand homes have fallen in this city
The price per m² in Marikina has fallen in the last 6 months. In March, the average price per m² was ₱ 63,509. In the following month the price per m² decreased to ₱ 57,556. The price for the following two months in (May, June) decreased 93 % with regard to the prior two months. The price per m² has increased 107 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per m² of ₱ 58,351.75 to ₱ 62,518.5 during July, and August.

During April the price had a considerable reduction till ₱ 5,710,880. During the following two months (May, June) the average price fell 87 % with regard to the previous two months.
