The prices in real estate in Tagaytay, in the Cavite region have had a strong rise in the last couple of months. The real estate prices for second hand homes have gone through a strong increase in this city.
The price per m² in Tagaytay has increased strongly during the last 6 months. In December, the average price per m² was ₱ 72,385. In the following month the price per m² decreased to ₱ 64,656. In the following two months the price per m² has barely changed, going from ₱ 68,520.5 to ₱ 67,292 per m². The price per m² has had a considerable increase of 161 % in the last two months compared to the average price for the previous four months. This was obtained by comparing the first four months of the period going from a price per m² of ₱ 67,906.25 to ₱ 109,365.5 during April, and May.
Based upon to the price in Tagaytay (cities), this has gone up in the last 6 months. The average price for December is ₱ 7,159,943. During January the price had a slight fall till ₱ 6,795,109. During the following two months (February, March) the average price had a considerable increase of 133 % with regard to the previous two months. During the last two months, the average price has reduced with regard to the previous ones. To be precise it has gone down 95 %, going from ₱ 8,134,206 to ₱ 7,718,319.5 in April and May.

The properties with the highest average prices have 1 bedroom. They are 36 % more expensive than the average followed by properties with 2 bedrooms with a price at ₱ 98,352 / m².
