The average price in the Leyte region has had a slight increase in recent months. There has been an inflation in the prices in this region.
The price per m² in Leyte has increased in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was ₱ 28,359. The following month (November) the price had a considerable increase reaching ₱ 63,941 per m². The following two months (December, January) went through a considerable deflation of 47 % in the price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant decrease of 77 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₱ 33,902.5 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₱ 26,161.5 per m² for the last two months (February, March).
Based upon to the price in Leyte(region), these have remained the same in the last 6 months. In the first month sample for October the average price is ₱ 9,891,340. During November it went through a strong inflation reaching ₱ 15,118,533 In the following two months the average price has decreased 54 % compared to the previous two. During the last two months the price has risen 107 % compared to the previous average values going from ₱ 9,598,115 a ₱ 10,263,928 in February and March.
The graph displaying the the average price per number of bedrooms shows that those with 1 bedroom are the cheapest ones. They are 90 % more affordable than the average price in Leyte followed by those with 2 with an average price of ₱ 1,844,890. The cheapest properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 40 % cheaper than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at ₱ 2,797,578.
Based on the average price per m² those properties with 3 bedrooms are the cheapest ones with a price of ₱ 27,308 / m² being ₱ 29,993 / m² the average value within the Leyte region. The properties with the most expensive average price are those with 4 bedrooms. These are 162 % more costly than the average followed by those with 1 bedroom with a price of ₱ 63,447 / m².

Based on the average cost per m² the most costly property type is "Lot with a an average price of ₱ 30,362 / m², followed by "House" with a price of ₱ 32,373 / m². "House" with an average price of ₱ 32,373 / m² is the most costly type of property followed by "Lot" at a price of ₱ 30,362 / m².
