The rent prices in real estate in Dumaguete, in the Negros Oriental region have fallen considerably in the last couple of months. There has been a strong fall in the rent prices in this city.
The price per m² in Dumaguete has had a strong fall during the last 6 months. In October, the average price per m² was ₱ 338. In November this price barely changed remaining at ₱ 334 per m². The price for the following two months in (December, January) had a considerable fall of 58 with regard to the previous two months. The price per m² has hardly changed in the last two months compared to the average price of the previous four months going from an average price of ₱ 265.75 to ₱ 258 during February y March
When referring to the price in Dumaguete (cities), this has risen in the last 6 months. The rent price in October is ₱ 17,228, rising in November till ₱ 18,313. In the following two months the average price has hardly changed with regard to the previous two months from ₱ 17,770.5 to ₱ 17,946. Based on an analysis of the first four prices and the last two months the average price has had a strong increase of 118 % during the last two months.
